World eBook Fair has already started, they are offering more than 2,000,000 eBooks to be downloaded for free.
World eBook Fair page allows you to hunt for the book you want to download either by clicking the ‘Browse’ (here books can be browsed in alphabetical order), or simly use the ‘Search’ on the right side of the panel.
Search box allows you to perform searches using several parameters, seems to be rendering appropriate results. Once your search has returned the results, simply click on the Adobe’s PDF icon on the page to start downloading, simple isn’t it?
The World eBook Fair page says –
“Our goal is to provide Free public access for a month to 2 Million eBooks. During the rest of the year you may continue to download your selection of about 500,000 PDF eBooks by joining the World Public Library. Annual membership is only $8.95 per year. “
So, go ahead and grab as many eBooks as you want, this is open for limited period, you can download these books for free till August 4th 2009, and if somehow you miss this opportunity you can go ahead and get the annual membership of World Public Library.
