In this video, I am going to do a speed test between the Coolpad Note 3 and the Lite version of Coolpad Note 3. The Note 3 was launched byCoolpad last year specially for the Indian low budget market. The handset packs in a powerful octa-core Mediatek MT6753 clocked at 1.3GHz, 3 GB RAM, and a 5.5-inch HD display. On the other hand, we have the Lite version of Note 3, from the same company. Note 3 Lite packs in the same hardware except that you only have Quad Core processor, 5-inch display, and battery is 2500 mAh
This made us think, how exactly does Note 3 Lite performs compared to its bigger version. Let’s find out in this speed test.
Before we get started though, let me explain to you how the speed test works. I am using an app, DISCOMARK, which will open 7 to 8applications one by one on both these handsets and time the whole process. These 7 applications are Asphalt 8 Airborne, Chrome, Clash of Clans, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp. Whichever handset manages to open all the 7 apps in the least amount of time, wins the test.
This is repeated three times by the app itself, giving you a fair average. First time all the apps are loaded from start, and in the next two runs, they are loaded from memory which will give an idea on how RAM management works on both of the phones.
So with everything out of the way, let’s get started.
