We have posted several applications and online tools for Screencasting and Camtasia Alternatives. Here is another nice application which doesn’t only capture screencasts but also allows you to record your webcam.
Debut is a small light weight application and the size of setup file is around 470Kbs, once installed and launched if required it will download few more components.
Debut is pretty easy to use, looks of the available buttons are quite self explanatory, doesn’t need any explanation.
Upper panel of the Debut window, allows you to switch your recording between Webcam, any other device or simply your monitor, ‘Schedule’ button allows you to start the recording at specified time from using any of the three devices, ‘Options’ allows you to select other fine settings, etc.
In the same way, the buttons on lower panels too allow you to choose the recording area, take snapshots, add text and watermark to videos, etc.

I liked Debut, it is definitely a full featured Screencasing and Recording Software, and is very easy to use.
