Disable Reply to All / Forward buttons in Outlook [ for your Sent Emails ]

Most of the times when you greet somebody on his birthday and CC to rest of your friends so that they don’t forget, it leads to mass email flooding by everybody to everybody and you end up reading emails which you never wanted to ( And feel like it was your birthday ). Also when you forward something and said please don’t forward to any more, the result is exactly the opposite.

Microsoft Research has an answer to both of this problem if your end users are using Outlook or Exchange. NoReplyAll Outlook Add-In disables the Reply to All and Forward functionality for the emails which you have sent using Outlook. So the emails sent by you cannot be forwarded by receiver or he cannot make reply to all the addresses you have added in the list.

No Reply to All Buttons

This plugin adds two button one for No Reply to All and another for No Forward. This buttons can be used on for any emails you create except for emails which had used the same plugin. This feature is no magic but its an internal function of the Outlook / Exchange product itself and is just marked for your mails.

No Reply to All Outlook

This way a reply can now only be sent to the persons who are in To field keeping you off from the Email Flood. I tried tricking the plugin by not opening and just select and hit reply to all ( which was not disabled in that mode ) but it still did not work and I got the message which you see above.

The add-in also includes checks for common email errors like omitting attachments or missing subject lines. This is based on phrases which might help you detect if you wanted to add an attachment. Go to BackStage > NoReplyAll

No Reply All Missing Attachments

Download the plugin from here.
