If you had been waiting for iOS 4.2 which is a major upgrade specially for iPad, Its available now via iTunes. All you need is to plugin your device and click on check for update button to start downloading it.
Update : I can see it in iTunes now. Total Size is of 550 MB. That’s huge.
However it is possible that this is not yet available for some countries but will eventually be rolled out.
As of now I am not seeing any update but http://www.apple.com/ipad/software-update/ is now redirecting to http://www.apple.com/ios/ which means the software is ready to go and the Wi-Fi bug must have been fixed.Make sure you do backup your data using the standard Backup procedure using iTunes.
