Drag and Drop files to attach in Gmail

Gmail Team keeps adding something new, let it be multiple inboxes, new window shortcuts, themes, message preview etc. and no doubt these things keep giving another reason to make Gmail your primary email service.

Here is another new entrant in the feature list; this feature allows you to attach files in your Gmail simply using the Drag and Drop method. Have a look at this animation below.

Drag and Drop to attach files in Gmail messages

This is something which I have seen for the first time in Online Email , I don’t know about others, but YahooMail and Rediffmail don’t have this feature.

This definitely is a great way of attaching the files in your email messages, and I am pretty sure that this is faster than browsing and giving the path of file, will help saving time and hence improved productivity levels as well. Via Official Gmail Blog
