Trying to figure how much is the distance between two places ? Any Map service like Bing, Google will do that but here is another dead simple online app, distancefromto which just tells you the distance and nothing else.
Just enter From City, To City, and hit measure distance and you will get the distance both in Miles and KM. Another thing which I liked most is the navigation they give with e.g. Asia > India > Kolkata which makes It much clear for any user.
Apart from this, the page also has a dedicated page to find distance between two cities in United States and another page which is dedicated to find distance between two countries. In the last case its pretty interesting how the distance is covered, is that between two capitals or between the borders.
