Gionee has announced another slim phone its is Elife series–S7–which is just 5.5mm thick. If you ben following the brand, S 5.5 was the slimmest when announced, followed by S 5.1. Coming back to S7, the phone houses a 5.2 inch screen with 1080P resolution, Super ambled screen which is protected by Gorilla glass 3.
In its heart, the phone holds the MediaTek MTK6752 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage. Sadly it has missed on the MicroSD part. The phone has a 13 MP camera in the rear with a whooping 8 MP front facing camera, which is totally cool. When it comes to the Android version, its preloaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop and Amigo 3.0.
Also the phone is a dual SIM phone with 4G LTE option. To make sure all this hardware gets enough life, it has 2750 mAH battery with option to extend the battery to 33 hrs+ just to keep it alive on standby, when you have only 10% of it left. This is more of a Lollipop feature.
The device will be rolled out in India on April 3rd in Black, White, and Blue. The pricing is set at 399 euros, which is approximately Rs 28,000.
