Firefox add-on for URL shortening via Goo.gl

Google recently launched its URL shortening service goo.gl, here is a Firefox add-on which allows you to easily shorten the URLs, using the goo.gl.

goo.gl lite is an awesome way to generate short URLs using the goo.gl. goo.gl lite is the best option if you want to shorten the URLs using goo.gl and that too without installing the Google toolbar.

Installing the goo.gl lite is simple, just like any other FF add-on, once installed and Firefox has been restarted, you can get the goo.gl lite button by following the steps as shown in the animation below.

So, the procedure is right-click your Firefox toolbar, click “Customize…”, and drag the Goo.gl button to your preferred position. Now, you can start using the goo.gl, just by clicking on the goo.gl lite button, it will copy the new short URL on the clipboard.

So, go ahead and give it a try.  Install goo.gl lite
