While exploring more features in Windows 7, I came across a feature which you might need sometimes to hide any exclusive fonts which you have from others. All you need to do is
- Go to your Fonts Directory Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts
- Select the font which you want to hide
- Right click and select HIDE.
This way the fonts which you did hide away wont be listed in any of the editors line Office or Word. I haven’t checked if this will make it unavailable for others users or not but if yes this is very useful specially when you have a font of your own handwriting.
what’s the point of hiding the font ? I don’t see any use of this feature
