If you have a Windows Live account, You do have skydive account too. This account basically gives you free storage space online without any charge however every uploading and downloading happens online which is sometimes a pain when I see my Dropbox working so seamlessly.
Sky Drive Explorer is a windows program which lets you explore, add files and manage them right from Windows explorer and uses Windows Live Messenger to sign in. That makes it pretty secure.
This is also pretty useful if you are looking forward to mass delete all the files and start fresh. Using Sky Drive explorer is just like working with any other folder as you can see in the screenshots here
