Perfect surprise and an excellent work, today when i searched for an app using the iPad inbuilt Appstore, a bar showed up on top of all which lets you sort the apps according to category, release date, customer rating, price and device. This makes a lot of sense as you can easily compare apps according to these features to find which suits you more.
The only thing which I find missing is Date Range which is not available with the date filter. You can sort according to last 7, 14 or 31 days. I am sure this must have shown up for iPhone also.
