Unlike Kinect for Xbox which is built for Far Vision, Kinect for Windows is made for near vision 50 Cm which can track gestures, body movements and can accept speech commands for Windows 7 and Windows 8. This near mode of kinect will lead to many many apps which we already are looking with development of apps like Paint. We had talked about couple of apps already at WPXBOX like Virtual Assistant, Kinect Me and So On, My prediction for Kinect for Windows will be used for major gaming experience apart from usual experience
