Imagine a phone where you cannot copy and paste on will, Oh wait iPhone did not had it either and I find no reason why Microsoft is following the path and I will give one plus on what Engadget is saying. The question here is why not a Next Gen phone can support clipboard or not but its about User experience where people copy and paste on Will and with things they want and specially when Email is an essential part of mobile phones now. So if you are saying I will not be given option to copy and paste a part of email but will have to use the way Microsoft is giving to me , Sorry with due respect that’s a big time #fail.
According to Engadget on their post :
There is a data-detection service built into the text-handling API that will recognize phone numbers and addresses, but Microsoft says most users, including Office users, don’t really need clipboard functionality. We… respectfully disagree? Sure, let’s leave it at that.
Though I am pretty sure you will not be limited to Just Copy Phone numbers Addresses and Copy Paste will have to be rolled out as an OS Update or patch but what is interesting is why on first hand MS is restricting it.
