Though Paint application of windows has improved a lot now but there is something more which is required by any user but when you look around for good alternatives paid apps are too costly. Sketchpad is an online paint like application but it gives you more options which is available in heavy tools like adobe, e.g gradient, swatch, pattern, colour picker etc.
However they don’t gives you all the options of photoshop tools. The one which gets closest of it is Sumo Paint. Overall this application is simple but powerful and gives you with many options better than paint.
