How to Sort Bookmarks in Edge, Chrome and Firefox

Each of these web browsers has a different procedure, so let us get started:

1] Microsoft Edge

On Edge, Bookmarks are known under the name Favorites. So, let us see how to sort Favorites on Edge.

  • Open the Edge web browser and click the three-dots menu at the top right corner of the page.

  • Choose Favorites from the context menu.
  • Right-click the Favorites bar and select Sort by name from the context menu. All the items you have marked as Favorites will be sorted alphabetically.

You can sort the bookmarks manually by dragging them based on your preference. Also, Edge cannot sort the bookmarks by date.

2] Google Chrome

Let us see how to sort bookmarks in Chrome:

  • Open Chrome web browser on your Windows PC and click the three-dot menu at the top right corner of the browser.

Sorting bookmarks on Firefox is simple. Let us see how:
