Trojan asks for credit card when activating windows !!

ZDNet reproted a case where a Trojan named as Trojan.Kardphisher, (spotted by Symantec researchers ) . This Trojan doesnt sit in background but after it gets into your system pops up a message that “Your Copy” of windows has been activated by other user and asks you to reactivate ( Is that possible ? Once activated its never asked for activation again , thats the first sign you should know its a trojan) . It then asks for registration and then credit card. If the user does not follow up the steps the computer is shutdown.

Though Microsoft is growing better every day in terms of OS like Vista and Longhorn, but still the security remains weak. How long will this go and how long Microsoft will keep on releasing patch after patch. I think they should work on security more to avoid such kind of trojan attacks. What do you think ?
