Untethered 5.0.1 jailbreak for All iPhone, iPod and iPad except iPad 2 and iPhone 4S (non-A5 devices) released

If you had been waiting to get untethered Jailbreak  for your iPhone3GS, iPhone4, iPhone4-CDMA, iPad1, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, Dev team Blog has a good news for you, it is here and comes for devices which are not  on 5.0.1  or are on 5.0.1 but if you are in both you better do not try else will get into multiple boot cycle.

Steps to Jailbreak  iOS 5.0.1

• Power Down your device and connect it via USB to your computer
• Run the Redsnow tool with admin privilege.
• Next follow the instructions to start your device in DFU Mode. Its bit tricky so first read how to do it and then restart it again.
• Hold Down Power Button for 2 seconds then without releasing power button you need press Home button for next 10 seconds and then release the power button but keep the home button pressed for 15 seconds.
• Next the Jail break tool will take care of patching your device kernel and use the exploit to open.
• You will also get option to install Cydia and any custom package you want.
• Sit back and relax till it completes.
• When Jailbreak is done, your device will reboo and you should see a bitten Jack which will load apps and then restart your device.
• Once it is complete look for a Cydia App inside. This means your device is now jail broken.

Just like you are already read to plugging your device to Jailbreak, I will warn you about one thing and that is the Battery Live. In this version 5.0.1 I have not seen any improvement and if next version 5.1 patches this up you will be stuck on battery issue for long. So Decide on your own!!
