Yu Yunique Unboxing & First Impressions

YU Launched a super budget Android Phone–Yunique–which is one of the most affordable phone having 4G support for India and comes with 720P screen. Priced at Rs 4,999, we are very eager to see how the device comes out when we spin it off in the final review.

Apart from the phone comes with Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2 Ghz, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage. Those who love to shoot pictures, there is a 8 MP rear shooter with LED flash and 2 MP front camera. Apart from this you have 2000 mAh battery which cannot be replaced by a user, and will need to be taken to service centre.

After using it for few minutes (both yesterday at event and today), the screen bothers me a little for its touch experience. Its definitely not one of the smoothest screen. When it comes to OS, there are few features missing from the Cyanogen Mod 12.1, but we will have it cross checked.

From build perspective, its lightweight and compact but yet looks solid. The rear is matt finish which will keep off the dust, but stay away from putting oily hands on it.

In the box you get a standard charger head, USB cable, ergonomic earphones, screen guard, and a warranty card.
